One idea I just saw this fall which totally impressed my inner kid was a brand new 18 hole chip and putt course in the Annapolis Valley. The owner says it takes about an hour to play through the course and it looks just like a full size course, but designed for players that can't play like tiger woods.
The course is well manicured and definitely isn't your standard old boring putt putt. Chip and putt is a new twist that the whole family can enjoy.
