Juggling may be easy, but becoming a juggler, not so much.

Most of the people I know can toss an item around with ease, but a juggler actually knows how to toss more than one item at a time with control and grace. I for one have trouble walking and chewing gum at the same time, so three items are definitely out there.

Ok, take a few minutes and check out the home page of this guy. After you watch his opening video, ask yourself if this is a good idea for your next party.

Welcome Back

clown juggler

Wasn't Greg Bennick great; funny too. Imagine making a living this way. There is no limit to how far you can go with any skills in life. The issue is how far will you go to become the best in your field.

Learning to juggle is both
simple and rewarding. The
best way to learn to do
something is to have someone
help you. The main elements
involved are here.

1. The throw
2. The exchange
3. The double-exchange
4. Triple-exchange

What is your plan ...

So now we need to figure out how to have an interesting and fun time with this idea as the cornerstone. Might I suggest hiring an entertainer with a plan.

Have him or her show up at a predetermined time, and make sure the invitations indicate when the "SHOW" starts (you pick the time). A show time will have everyone pumped up wondering what you have planned.

The performer should do an amazing 30 minute show for the adoring fans, and then (drum roll please) they should provide lessons for everyone to start learning how to juggle. I would recommend bean bags or other items that are soft in nature. Leave the machetes and torches for another time.

Ideally this would work for a smaller group. Have a prize for the person who performs the best after 30 minutes with one bean bag, or two bags or ....

At the end of the lesson, the performer completes his show with the final "gasp" presentation, and then it is time for applause and refreshments.

The object here is to have fun, learn something new, and have more fun.
