The first picture is of a Slushy machine which crushes the ice to produce a crunchy watery icy mixture. Add some flavors and a straw and enjoy. Much of the syrup tends to pool at the bottom of the container and part of the ice will have no flavor left in it at the top. We have all seen them and tasted them. Shaved IceThe next machine you see is what is usually called a shaved ice machine. This makes a finer ice and snow mix and the flavors tend to stay in the mix as opposed to the bottom of the cup. Usually comes with a straw and spoon, and is a nice step up the treat ladder from a slushy.On the scale you are at a 7 out of 10. Good but not the best.

Gourmet Frozen TreatsNotice that this next treat is actually snow. That is why it is called a snow cone or shave ice as opposed to shaved ice. The "d" makes all the difference in quality. A gourmet frozen treat will hold all the flavors in the snow. You won't find any of the flavor pooling at the bottom of the cup. This takes a unique machine to product this treat and only comes with the trailer.This is a 10 out of 10 and oh so tasty.
